Waiting...

I am counting down the hours to receive the magical address for the Dirty and Pink Date Ride. I totally want to do this ride! http://dirtyandpinkalleycat.blogspot.com/ will also be rad - but I suck at musicals and costumes...no that's I lie, just at musicals. I have a feeling there will be a lot of beer consuming and of course bike riding! 7 Hours to go!

Who Dat?

Today's Idaho Statesman featured one of our favorite proud papas and all around good guys Patrick Sweeney in the "That's my Job" section.

We have to give props to bikers that brave the cold, the inversion and the traffic. Thanks Northstar for keeping our environment clean and introducing Boise to bicycle couriers.

And check out the video!

Way to go guys!

beer vs. wine

You can still drink wine and ride bikes, it's ok.

This chick can roll!

Cycling around with 20 pounds of beer on the front of your bike
takes a little bit of finesse. Steering feels heavy and slower and I
wouldn’t recommend whipping around any corners or performing any other
tricks while hauling heavy objects. Also, as you can see in the photos, I
have a bungee cord strapped firmly over the top of the beer since
hitting bumps tends to toss things out of the basket. However, this
is a very convenient means of hauling stuff around without having to
fire up the family sedan. Save money, stay fit, and enjoy your
beer!

Yum Nachos

We Love good food and beer. One of our favorite places to ride to and have a beer is our neighborhood "clubhouse" THE LIFT. They have mastered nachos. First off, they are not that expensive. Second you can choose your type of meat and bean. Third - served in a deep fried shell!
Biking wise - GREAT - take the greenbelt West to Willow Lane. Head North to State, then back track a block East. You will find a wonderful patio and a great staff!
Tuesday Nights is .50 OLY nights!
